MUTTON BUSTIN'

Saturday, April 6, at 11am at the Needles Rodeo Grounds. Registration at the rodeo grounds from 10-11 am. Entry fee is $20. Riders must be 3-7 yo anhd 60 lbs and under - no expections. We will take 75 riders. Helmets and vests are provided. Registration will also be taken at The Roceo Store at 920 W. Broadway in Needles from April 1-4 from 10am-4pm.

LOCAL CONTESTANTS

​Local contestants can enter the 46th Colorado River Round Up.  Local contestants must live within 50 miles of Needles and are not required to have a GCPRA membership. Call Mike Shott at

760-218-4891 between March 1 and March 26. 

CORN HOLE TOURNEYS

6th Annual Corn Hole and Horeseshoe Tourneys will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 10am. Registration begins at 9am at the rodeo grounds. 2-member teams - $20 per team member and includes entry into the rodeo. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in each tourney. To register or for more info,

JUNIOR BARREL RACE

The Junior Barrel Race is held on Saturday, April 6 at 2 pm at the Needles Rodeo Grounds

at 1001 San Clemente St in Needles.

Two age groups: 11 years and younger and 12-17 years. Limited to 20 riders in each group. 

Buckle awarded to 1st place in each group.

RANCH BRONC EVENT

The Ranch Bronc event is included in each rodeo performance - Friday, April 5, beginning at 6 pm and Saturday, April 6, beginning at 8 pm. Five riders in each performance. Buckle to the winner. Call Mike Shott at 760-218-4891
